Box Beds do exactly what they say on the tin, they are a bed in a box seat. Sometimes known as an ottoman or a pouffe, a box bed is the perfect combination of a sofabed and a compact seat that will fit virtually anywhere. As they are so compact they will fit through the smallest of doorways so are a great choice for lofts, spiral stairs or apartments. The Cheshire Double Box Bed contains a small double bed and the Sussex Single Box Bed contains a single bed. Made to order in our UK factory you can choose your favourite fabric from our collection from faux leathers to tactile weaves.

- Is a sofa bed suitable for everyday use?
Our sofabeds are designed for occasional use by guests and not to be a replacement for a standard bed. The sofabeds though are very comfortable as the mattress works with the trampoline base below to create a good nights sleep. We also offer an upgrade to a hotel sofabed action. This has a much stronger frame and thicker mattress that is suitable for more regular use.
- How long do sofa beds last?
Our Sofabeds are made to order by us with a solid wooden frame and metal sofabed action. The sofabeds come with a 12 month manufacturing warranty and a 10 year frame guarantee.
- How long does it take to deliver your sofabeds?
We make all our sofabeds to order in our UK factory in the customers choice of fabric. From order to delivery takes 28 days. If you need a sofabed quicker than 28 days this can be done. We can make and deliver sofabeds in as little as 14 days. If this is of interest please call 01606 594404 to discuss further.
- Do I have to build my sofabed/is it supplied assembled?
Our sofabeds are made to order and delivered to the room of your choice fully assembled. We also offer an option of bolt on arms for our sofabeds. This option allows sofabeds to be delivered to smaller spaces and through narrower doors. If this option is chosen the customer will need to bolt the arms on themselves.
- How thick are your sofabed mattresses?
Both our pocket sprung and foam sofabed mattresses are 6cm thick. They work with the trampoline base below to mimic a traditional bed mattress and provide a comfortable nights sleep. The mattresses in our upgraded hotel sofabed actions are thicker and are 10cm thick.
- Can I pay for my sofabed in instalments?
We offer two ways that you can pay for the sofabed in instalments. Through Klarna and Paypal you can choose to pay for your sofabed in three instalments.
