The Madrid Sofabed maybe compact, but it will comfortably seat 2 people. It is an excellent choice for studies, bedrooms, apartments, and flats as it can be manoeuvred upstairs a lot more easily than other models.  It’s modern design works well with virtually any fabric, however, it looks particularly good in contemporary plain fabrics in vibrant colourful choices.

The Madrid Sofabed is supplied fully assembled and ready to use.  To transform from a sofabed to a sofa, simply remove the seat cushion and fold out the sofabed action. Once folded out the sofabed becomes a small double bed, which is ideal for weekend guests and sleepover.  The bed is composed of a foam mattress that sits on a trampoline base, thus mimicking the feeling and comfort of a fully sprung mattress.

The Madrid Sofabed features a fully upholstered solid wooden frame with a foam seat cushion.  Like all our sofabeds Madrid is made to order, in your choice of fabric, in our UK based factories. Once completed our white glove two-man delivery team will deliver your new sofabed, at a pre-agreed delivery time, to a room of your choice.

  1. Your Fabric Selection *

    Please make a selection from the fabric choices available.

  2. Mattress Upgrade *

    Your new sofabed comes with a foam mattress and a trampoline base. Please note all mattresses fold into the sofabed action.

  3. Add Duvet and Pillow Set

    Your can add a set of 2 pillows and a duvet to your sofabed. Our Deluxe Set is a 15 tog hollow fibre duvet with polycotton outer and polycotton covered pillows. Our Egyptian Cotton Hotel Quality Set is a 13.5 tog feather duvet with Egyptian cotton outer and Egyptian cotton covered pillows. Please note the duvet and pillows will need to be stored separately to your sofabed.

  4. Add Scatter Cushions

    You can order 1, 2, 3 or 4 scatter cushions made to order in fabric to match your new sofabed. Our scatters are fibre filled and are 40cm square.

  5. Wider Bed Upgrade

    Your new sofabed comes with a sofabed action that is the same size as a small double bed as standard (188cm x 119cm) Upgrade to a standard double bed size action (188cm x 139cm). This upgrade will also have the benefit of increasing the width of the seating area by approximately 20cm. Please note it will increase the Total Width of your sofabed by 20cm, so you need to ensure that this will fit in your room.

  6. Storage Footstool

    Your can order a footstool to match your sofabed. These will be manufactured in the same fabric as your sofabed. Available as a Small (45cm high x 52cm wide x 52cm deep) or as a Large (45cm high x 104cm wide x 52cm deep)

Amazing sofa bed, fits our room well

Hello 🙂
So far we have used this sofa bed just for sitting, but soon we will get to sleep on it (guests 😉). I love the quality and the chosen fabric. The customer service is amazing and the sofa got delivered before the scheduled time. The delivery people were friendly and so helpful. Thank you 🙏🏻

ideal compact double sofa bed

delighted with our new small double sofa ..looks great in our extension room..had a very good choice of fabrics …but most importantly it is very easy to convert into a bed when needed.

Lovely sofa bed

So happy with our Madrid chair bed, which was specially made as a single bed for us. Thank you so much for all your help! Our granddaughter used it this weekend for the first time and was absolutely thrilled with it.

I am delighted with my sofa bed. It is really well made, and looks very stylish. It fits perfectly in the space I had. The sofa is firm but comfortable and the bed action is so easy and smooth. It feels comfortable to sleep on as well. It arrived really quickly, just over three weeks and when I phoned the people I spoke to were lovely, really helpful. Great service and a lovely sofa bed.
