The Gothenburg Sofa bed is a compact sofabed that will comfortably seat 2 people. It is an excellent choice for small spaces as it can be manoeuvred upstairs easily.

The Gothenburg Sofabed is supplied fully assembled and ready to use features a fully upholstered solid wooden frame with a foam seat cushion.  Like all our sofabeds the Gothenburg is made to order, in a choice of over 130 fabrics, in our UK factory.

Customise Your Sofabed

  1. Your Fabric Selection *

    Please make a selection from the fabric choices available.

  2. Mattress Upgrade *

    Your new sofabed comes with a foam mattress and a trampoline base. Please note all mattresses fold into the sofabed action.

  3. Add Duvet and Pillow Set

    Your can add a set of 2 pillows and a duvet to your sofabed. Our Deluxe Set is a 15 tog hollow fibre duvet with polycotton outer and polycotton covered pillows. Our Egyptian Cotton Hotel Quality Set is a 13.5 tog feather duvet with Egyptian cotton outer and Egyptian cotton covered pillows. Please note the duvet and pillows will need to be stored separately to your sofabed.

  4. Add Scatter Cushions

    You can order 1, 2, 3 or 4 scatter cushions made to order in fabric to match your new sofabed. Our scatters are fibre filled and are 40cm square.

  5. Wider Bed Upgrade

    Your new sofabed comes with a sleep area that is the same size as a small double bed as standard (188cm x 119cm) Upgrade to a standard double bed size (188cm x 139cm). This upgrade will also have the benefit of increasing the width of the seating area by approximately 20cm. Please note it will increase the Total Width of your sofabed by 20cm, so you need to ensure that this will fit in your room.

  6. Hotel Sofabed Action

    Your new sofabed comes with a domestic specification sofabed action. Upgrade to a 2 fold hotel grade sofabed action. This upgrade will have the benefit of a much stronger metal frame and a deeper 10cm mattress. Please note the total depth of your sofa will increase by 20cm and the width will increase by 1cm, so you need to ensure that this will fit in your room. <!– – what is this? –>

  7. Storage Footstool

    Your can order a footstool to match your sofabed. These will be manufactured in the same fabric as your sofabed. Available as a Small (45cm high x 52cm wide x 52cm deep) or as a Large (45cm high x 104cm wide x 52cm deep)

Amazing !!

New sofabed arrived today. Really well made and nice to know it's made direct in UK and not from some big factory elsewhere like most things . Nice firm seat to sit on and it will be great for occasional use for guests when they come to stay . I chose the yellow okra colour goes really well with my blue walls in living room . Delighted !
