Customers Count – How one UK Sofabed manufacturer looks after every customer

A lot of craftsmanship, time, care and pride goes into making and delivering our sofabeds. It is always great to hear from the many happy customers of sofabed.co.uk and we are always grateful for the people who take the time to leave us a review. Great Company to deal with

Samples sent out really quickly. Sofa delivered promptly and efficiently. We ordered from a competitor initially but their was service so poor we had to cancel our order. Sofabed.co.uk is a great example of good service and a good product.

Quality and customer service

Fabulous customer service in the pre order phase helping in understanding options and through ordering process always friendly, courteous and professional on the phone.  The delivered sofa bed is perfect, high quality of materials and manufacturing, comfortable as sofa and as bed. Outstanding, thank you!

Quality sofa bed

Took a chance by ordering a sofa bed online, which wasn’t too difficult. Bed arrived within the 6 week time period for delivery. I was not disappointed. Fits into my spare room/office nicely. The fabric quality is good and the colour ‘sand’ blends well with decoration. Thoroughly recommend this service 5*

Superb service.

Service was first rate. The sofa bed is of a very high standard, and we’re very impressed with it. Communication from the company was great, and they managed to make and deliver our sofa for the date we needed. Delivery to the room was professional and tidy. Cannot recommend them enough if you want a great quality sofa bed.

At sofabed.co.uk we love to hear from our customers.  Whether a review is good or bad, we want to know so we can look to improve the products and services that we offer.  We are pleased to say that we have received lots and lots of lovely 5 star reviews on Trustpilot, but never a 6 star review.  That is until Marcus Streets wrote us a review and decided that a 5 star review on Trustpilot just did not do justice to the service he had received from sofabed.co.uk.  So thank you Marcus for our first ever 6 star review (even if officially it is only 5 star).

If I could give this company six stars I would.

We bought a chaise lounge in a lovely red. It is a delight to sit or lounge on. The fold out bed works well, not that we have been permitted visitors to use it yet.

First we were kept up to date about progress and to arrange delivery. The delivery staff went above and beyond – bring it right into the room, even though they were only contracted to leave it at the door. They even had to remove and replace the feet to get it though our narrow door.

Secondly, there was a minor issue. The cutter had reversed the cover for the arm. But as soon as I let them know by amial, I got a reply from the managing director and a new cover was posted to me the next day.

Then despite the fact I was perfectly happy, I could not stop them from making me some matching cushion covers.

Christmas Magic – Ray of light in Lockdown

We had delayed looking for a sofa bed for a newly renovated room, usual mad rush, had to be done before Christmas. My wife said where can we get one on line? Well the Sofabed company of course!

We had left it to Friday 11th December at about 7:00pm in the evening. We looked up online and decided on the Norfolk Sofabed in Balmoral Charcoal with the Mattress Pocket Sprung Upgrade.

I noticed a telephone number on the website 8am-8pm. I called it and unsurprisingly left a message on what sounded like a mobile phone number. Oh well, I had to take my son to Football training.

My wife received a call from Steve the MD who was in New Zealand. He said he would do what he could do and would pay us back if it did not arrive in time for Christmas, which was a lovely offer, but tbh we would have kept is as we needed one.

After paying we were engaged by Paul, Karen and the amazing team at Black Dog saying they would do their best to get the delivery by Christmas, I did not even chase it leaving it to fate.

On Wednesday 23rd December 2020 I was contacted by Karen who gave me Maureen’s number at the delivery company, Surrey Palitz who had the goods at a local depot. They were maxed out but as I am lucky to have a transit, collected the Sofabed.

It was beautifully wrapped, no damage and it took be about ten minutes to put it in place, two minutes to lay up as a bed and thirty seconds for a nice nap, being woken by my wife and daughter laughing at my slumbers at the window. The sprung mattress upgrade was worth every penny.

My daughter and her boyfriend confirmed it was lovely to sleep on and had not minded being ousted by Grandma from her bed (all in our bubble btw).

Well done the Sofabed company and Black Dog with special thanks to Paul, Karen and very much to a hands on MD in Steve, nothing like old school sales and service.
